The Candle

In the darkness, she sits and watches the candle, it's tiny light glowed dimly to barely illuminate the small room the woman was hiding in. The door to the bedroom was locked tight, three strong locks bolted into the wooden door held tight into place, keeping whatever horror outside the room out, they were a bit rusty from years of use but were surprisingly still in good condition for use on the door which was necessary for the woman's situation. Cuz' if not, there what's out there might be able to get in.

A young actress finds herself on the receiving end of a blackout caused by unnatural causes after she had gone to bed but woke up at one o'clock in the morning. So, she decides to check her generator downstairs in her mansion to see what the problem is, however she's left in the darkness with only a set of candles to guide her while something hides in the darkness, something she wasn't expecting.

So, I heard you like rituals, right? You like to feel the rushes of being helpless in your bed? You want something to go 'boo' in the middle of the night? Then I suggest you try to do this, but be warned, you may not like the result of this ritual.

After the events of 'A Light In The Darkness', former actress Luna Cassidy wanders the destroyed world with limited supplies, her rifle and knowledge in search of libraries to find answers on what the monsters in her world are and how to defeat them.

Despite not having much luck, Luna still struggles and stays determined and hopeful for an answer to this problem. When she comes across a link to the dark web with a possible answer and a ritual that thrill seekers use for a thrill, she wonders if this is the answer she's looking for.

But this is beyond what she expects.

The late bus transmitter was down to its last on the road for the night was slowly growing later, the sky above becoming darker and darker till almost the entire world went dark. The only lights that existed in the world were the bus highlights and the few fading streetlights the city had to offer, but even then those lights were fading into the endless void of the night, leaving behind only a lonely bus to forever wander the lonesome dirt roads of the more lonely side of the city.
