The Chinese Door

All children dream of magical and mystical places. It's where they escape when they need to get away. For some children, life simply becomes too much at times and they need a private place to hope and dream. In some ways, it could be considered both a gift and a curse as they were born with minds that simply must explore. This exploring often means leveraging every corner of their imagination; driven by their thoughts, but equally so by the stories told by those around them.

In most cases, these imaginary places exist only in the minds of the children, their place safely away from the real world. But every so often one of these mysterious places becomes just a little too real and someone experiences a once of a lifetime adventure.
