The Chinese Path

Since the Opium War of 1840, China has pioneered a uniquely Chinese Path to modernization, created a new model for human advancement, and expanded the channels for developing countries to achieve modernization. The formation and extension of the Chinese Path shows that modernization need not mean "Westernization."
