The Chinese woman, using the cover name Lei Mei, is an Intelligence Officer assigned to Chinese State Security, Second Bureau. She accepts an assignment to go to Seattle to locate and abduct the Triad killer, Wu Xing, and return him to China to stand trial. Lei Mei has a personal reason for accepting this assignment and vows only death will prevent her from completing this mission.
