This fun children's book is about a rather finicky little mouse lives is a tree in the country. His life is full of dinner parties and celebrations. However, his world is shattered when the tree he's living in is chopped down and taken to a home in the city. Not only does the little mouse find himself dragged into this strange environment but the family who now own his tree are rude and quite lazy.
He is appalled to see how poorly they decorate their tree and wrap their presents. "This will not do!" exclaims the litte mouse as he goes about rearranging and putting things right.
When Santa finally arrives the little mouse is the only one who knows how to help him and save Christmas.
