This is the fantastic story of a young man named Goodslayer. It begins when he descends into a jungle village occupied by a tribe of young warriors. This this tribe plays a lethal game against the warriors of neighboring tribes. The young men who are killed are placed in graves that nourish a vine called lightwing. This vine is used to make a tea that the young women of the tribe drink. It gives them the power to bring peace of mind to their men. While the warriors of the tribe serve the dark side of the circle, the women serve the light. This story is based on the duality between love versus hate, courage versus fear, self-interest versus the welfare of the community, and myth versus reality.
