Patricius loves being a Compost Boy, despite the teasing he endures from the townspeople who throw rotten fruit and vegetables at him. However, he runs into a problem when he realizes he is too poor to marry a beautiful landscaping girl -- who happens to be the main reason he loves his job.
This silly, short children's story is an enjoyable read for parents and children aged 4-8. It's also a prequel for a longer children's story still in progress "Johannes XXVI".
