Adequate infrastructural facilities and high human development are the preconditions of economic growth of an economy. Gujarat is a fast growing state with high economic growth but comparatively low human development Though, Gujarat's economy has shown a consistently increasing rate of economic growth, yet The state was unable to improve its rank in HDI.
