Kevin and his two friends, John and Ben, decide to go out on the town after Kevin loses hope in attending his crush's Halloween party. But first, they stop off at a seasonal costume shop where they make some fateful choices about their outfits for the evening. The strange shopkeeper insists that Kevin is perfectly suited for a particular sexy witch costume. With the promise of his ironic attire attracting a companion for the evening, Kevin and the others head out to the bar district, but as the night goes on Kevin starts to realize that his costume is a lot more authentic than he would like. At the culmination of the evening, Kevin gets to act out his frustrations with the dating scene first hand with a little help from his friends.
