The Creditor is the Husband

Stood in the house, my eyes followed his back and then silently sighed, my mouth casually asking, even though I already knew where my father wanted to go.

"Where are you going, why do you ask?

"I asked just to know, but I already guessed where you were going. Will you come home for dinner this afternoon?"

I answered while leaning against the pillar.

As for my father, his steps as he walked out the door immediately stopped, he turned back, squinted his eyes at me, looking annoyed, and replied viciously.

-You keep talking, if I don't go, how can I buy rice this afternoon? I have to go to recover my capital. I lost a lot in the morning. Why do you ask? Take care of your duties at home and clean up.

I ran back, grabbed my father's hand, a bit dissatisfied with him but I still answered softly

-I'm going to go but this afternoon I don't have rice to cook and eat. Instead of having how much money I have left to buy rice to eat for a few days, is it better than going to the casino to feed people?

Dad snorted after what I just said and then forcefully pushed my hand away, his face fiercely swinging his hand to give me a "Pop" slap.... my fragile face was marked with pain on his fingers. I was stunned for a moment, all I could do was put my hands on my face and look up at him.

Yet after my dad finished slapping me, he still didn't feel any compassion, and even opened his mouth to curse me carelessly, as if I wasn't his biological son.

-Shut your mouth, you don't know how to work as my assistant, but you still have the voice to teach me about life. If you're so uneducated, one day I'll break your throat, kid.
