Mario Carrasco Teja (Mexico City, 1972) is an archaeologist, writer, editor, and designer of printed and electronic books and magazines (he is included in Smashwords' "Mark's List" of ebook formatting providers). Hombre Orquesta is his personal publishing imprint. He has obtained distinctions such as the "Edmundo Valadés" Latin American Short Story Contest (2001), an honorific mention in the "Juan Rulfo" Fine Arts Award for First Novel (2007), and the Gold Medal for Horror Fiction in the Global Ebook Awards (2014).
