"You do know I'm married?"

"The bling on your finger makes that obvious," Aaron responded.

I gave him a direct look and said, "Then don't you think it's a touch inappropriate to get so personal with me? I'm married and I'm also your bossin a way. Your client, at least. Anyway, I thought you two were gay?"

Jimmy intervened at that point.

He threw a malevolent glance at Aaron and said, "Yes, he is being inappropriate, Julia. But, please, do forgive him. He's young and you know what he's like."

Aaron sniffed, like he was offended, his attitude all in the roll of eyes.

"We're more fluid than boring old gay," he said with a pout. He offered me an effeminate wave, one with a definite kink to his wrist. "And I didn't mean to cause offense," he added. "I meant it as a compliment!" He took a step back and eyed me again, his gaze running all over my body.

The heat in his look seemed a little at odds with his camp manner of speaking. The way he talked and his immaculate taste in clothes tagged him as gay. But, after what he'd said about licking chocolate sauce off my boobs and the way his stare just about burned the clothes off my body, I got the sense I'd misjudged him entirely.
