The Day The Country Died' is the long-awaited follow-up to Ian Glasper's successful 'Burning Britain', and sees the author exploring in minute detail the obscure, esoteric, UK anarcho-punk scene of the early Eighties. If the bands in 'Burning Britain' were loud, political and uncompromising, those examined in 'The Day The Country Died' were even more so, totally prepared to risk their liberty to communicate the ideals they believed in so passionately.
