Winning the first democratic presidential elections in Egypt after the fall of President Hosni Mubarak, Mohammed Morsi, backed by the Muslim Brotherhood, seized absolute dictatorial powers by ramming down the people's throat an Islamist constitution placing himself above the court and the law.
