The Gargoyle, The Nutcracker, and the Christmas Spirit

When the young Nedrall Nutcracker, son of the war-hero Navid Nutcracker, stumbles upon an ambush of the Gargoyle Army, led by the power-hungry King Khelbent, Nedrall's destiny is forever changed. The standoff between him, a gargoyle, and a magical spirit leaves Ned determined to join the military under his father and fight to defeat King Khelbent.

But being a soldier isn't as cut and dry as Ned expected. When everyone knows who you are, friends- and enemies- are inevitable. And when everyone knows who your father is, so are the expectations.

But as Ned and his team navigate the generation-long war, Ned discovers secrets kept from him by the military leadership and even by his own father. Ned must discover where his power and trust lies as he faces his destiny which was bestowed on him so abruptly.
