The Genesis Café

The message of Jesus Christ was known as the "Gospel of the Kingdom", and wherever His disciples later wentas eyewitnesses of His life, teachings, death, and resurrectionthey eagerly shared their Messiah's Gospel.

Today, there is nothing more foundational to understanding and living our faith than to know and embrace this same Gospel of the Kingdom.

So what, exactly, did Jesus mean when He said, "The Kingdom is near, repent and believe the good news?"

The Younger & the Elder, together with author Robby McAlpine, set out together to explore what Jesus meant. Drawing on the Gospels and the book of Acts, as well the writings of George Eldon Ladd, their animated conversations (and interactions with the Crusty Irish Barkeep, the shrewd but wary Proprietress, and the irrepressibly artistic Barista) make for a lively, thought-provoking, and spiritually invigorating journey of discovery.
