Harvard University students are assigned to find an idea to create a brand new stream of income for the United States of America. During the Harvard Thinks Big contest, Freud Washington, Farah Hourani and Brendan Hamel pitch their idea about reviving Inga Dams, the potentially most powerful hydroelectric dam in the world.

Convinced that the three students' idea is incredible, the U.S government and many venture capitalists decide to deploy their army of workers to build the Grand Inga Dam, the most ambitious power station in the world. At the same token, Freud, Farah and Brendan are sent to Central Africa to supervise the project and provide reliable feedback about Africa's social and economic situation to the President of Harvard University. This crucial mission is scheduled to span four years!

During their journey in Congo, the trio of students meet Marius, an affluent businessman, who becomes good friend with Freud Washington. At a super, in Marius' magnificent mansion, the business magnet deliberately shares privileged information about his company, BHP Billiton, to the three Harvard students. Being that Freud is passionate about business, he takes every single word that comes out of Marius' mouth very seriously. In fact, he doesn't mind to be involved in an insider trading, as long as he could stand a chance to strike it rich!

Beyond Freud's ambition, his team's initiatives pave the way for the first African Industrial Revolution. Indeed, the Grand Inga Dam project creates employment on a phenomenal scale, decreasing Congo's unemployment rate from 85% to 22% within four years! The flip side of this phenomenon is that Western corporations decide to seize this opportunity to establish a nation-wide dominance. In fact, in a secretly held auction, several business people from different origins buy many shares of the SNEL; the firm that owns Inga Dams; shifting its ownership status from state-owned to privately owned.

Being that Freud Washington found himself deeply in love with Africa's culture, scenery and people, he decides to fight corporate greed and alleviate its impact on African societies. Dissatisfied with the quirky twist, Freud utilizes his trump card to win the battle over corporations and solve Africa's energy issues, once and for all!
