Dan Coltrane, a government investigative officer receives threatening e-mails on his computer that vow to get even with him. He is naturally uneasy about them and discovers they are coming from a past acquaintance, Denise Gray, a woman he once worked with. Coltrane makes contact with her and learns that she is an undercover agent involved in the investigation of a corrput banking organisation that is making millions of illicit dollars from illegal banking procedures. Coltrane is sent to Genoa in Italy after discovering the bank CEO, Felix Blanchard is also involved in the Art world purchasing valuable paintings there, many of which are forgeries. The art purchase business is only a front to larger financial dealings involving many European governments. Blanchard is planning to control the banking systems of Europe and America with a new computer system developed by a financial computer genius. Denise and Coltrane agree to work together with a manoeuvre to foil Blanchard's financial takeover plan and dismantle his world-wide business control.
