The Girl Who Watched Over Dreams

Eden looked like the perfect long-term care solution for Dr. Katrina Hammond's ailing mother. Residents there live in a medically-induced dream state, a fantasy world powered by their imagination that frees them from the torments of everyday life. Perfect gets even better when Eden offers Kat the position of in-house neurologist. Young, insecure, fresh out of medical school and unwilling to leave her mother to start a life of her own, Kat cannot resist. Mother and daughter move out west to begin their new, separate lives together, and when investigative reporter Morgan Brewer shows Kat what it means to be alive her own dreams start to come true.

But dreams are not always what they seem. An anomaly in the brainwave patterns of some Eden residents suggests a possible link to distress, and when Kat defies management's order not to probe deeper she finds herself ensnared in the sinister world of human organ trafficking. Unable to ignore the symptoms and unsure of what to believe or who to trust, Kat must find a way to rescue her mother and the other residents of Eden before she herself becomes trapped in their perpetual nightmare.
