The Gospel

The term Gospel literally means Good News. However, not all good news is relevant to everyone, and at all times. By the Gospel here we are referring to the Good News of God to every one concerning what He has done and is doing for all men by His Son Jesus Christ and the merits of His Finished Work of the Cross; and this covers the entirety of life here and hereafter.
Now every news has its object, which is its central figure or event. The Object of the Gospel, the true gospel, is 'Jesus Christ and Him Crucified.' This is the Gospel which Jesus the Christ sent all that believe in Him to preach and teach to every human creature in all the nations of the world, for their salvation and victorious living.
This is the Gospel of the kingdom, which Jesus Christ Himself in His earth walk said 'shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come;'
