The Great Texas Dance, Book Two in The Tales of Zebadiah Creed: The State of Texas, Mexico, Early Spring 1836Because of the promise made to a friend left dead in Louisiana, Zeb finds himself lying on a rooftop of the Alamo overlooking the whole of Santa Anna's army. Along the way, Zeb is joined by James Lee, a boy in search of his father gone off to fight, who unknowingly shares a dark secret Grainger carries that comes to light only after the Battle of San Jacinto, where victory and revenge are not so sweet.
