Tom Barlow and Virginia Thompson had a forbidden love that would be the envy of any couple. Any passionate noises that came from both of them would go unnoticed. Not many of the town¿s people would travel down to the Old Mill Bridge because the bridge was deemed unsafe and could collapse at any time.
