The Holy Spirit & Dreams

Often times, we become so eager and yearn to hear God speak to us on various aspects in our lives and situations that we find ourselves in. Sometimes, we become so desperate and expectant that we tend to focus on and create a fixed channel through which we want him to speak to us, and by so doing, we tend to miss His voice when he actually does speak.

It might not be a vision in a burning bush as with Moses, but the Holy Spirit does communicate to everyone in some way. Almost everybody dreams at least sometimes. The Holy Spirit communicates, especially to believers, through dreams and visions to enable them discover who they are and what they will become in the future.

We discover in the book of Acts in the New Testament that both God the Father and God the Holy Spirit communicated through dreams and visions. In this manner, the Holy Spirit provided guidance to countless people of the past.

Be informed that both dreams and visions are evidence of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the last days referred to in Acts 2:17 to guide us. Don't take the warnings of dreams of the Holy Spirit for granted.

The Holy Spirit still communicates through dreams and visions to people today and His role in our dreams and visions is immeasurable. This book takes a look at some common dream imagery and explains how the Holy Spirit uses such imagery in dreams to warn, edify, encourage and comfort us.
