Maude Renaud, owner of Masquerade Club, the most famous sex-club on the west coast, offers a wickedly delicious business arrangement to partners of the hottest sex-club in Manhattan. An ironclad deal assuring national accoladesand profits.

The deal, however, depends on a personal assessment of Masquerade by one of the New York partners. Beyond irritated, she grants Gaven Sinclair everything the club has to offer. And his timing couldn't be worse. Preparations for Maude's infamous Valentine's Day Ball are in full swing.

Gaven is just as aggravated about visiting the Masquerade Club as Maude is having him there. He'd arrived home from a month-long business trip, just to have his partners at the club dump the surprise visit to the west coast on his shoulders.  But the club isn't the only thing he wants to avoid. His estranged son lives in Portland and their twelve-year separation shows no signs of thawing.

When Gaven arrives at Masquerade, the experience rocks him. So does the enchanting owner, and suddenly, the game has changed.
