For twenty years, I rode the bus up and down I-5 between my apartment in Mountlake Terrace and my clerical job in Seattle, usually in silence. The road became my confidante as my thoughts took on lives of their own. This is an anthology of what went on inside my head during those years of confinement.
The Interstate 5 Companion is an anthology that addresses racism, sex, religion, family, employment, love and death. I did not use a professional editor, and the book is in my natural and unedited voice.
