The Journey Stories, by Cindy Kane, are a compilation of Christmas Eve and Easter vignettes told through the eyes of an out-casted mother fighting for the life of her son.

In A Journey we follow Mary and Joseph as they're turned away from relative after relative just hours before the birth of Jesus. And in A Journey's End (Parts I-III) we're with Mary as she pushes through an angry mob to find her son after his arrest. We sit with her as she mourns his death, and experience the first Easter morning by her side.
