The Lancaster Line: A North County Paranormal Unit Prequel Story

A couple years before the official series, a vampire case comes in at the end of a long shift. James is hopeful when he finds out it's just investigation, they're not expected to actually fight anything tonight. But what do you do when you're out in the dark with an exhausted teammate who's being pulled in too many directions at once? And is the handsome stranger you find out there (whose entire being absolutely screams vampire) really a disgruntled Foundation researcher like he claims?

James has had about twenty minutes of training on how to deal with vampires. But he's going to need all of it if they're going to survive this quick investigation trip.
