The Legend of Garbog

In a world unlike our own, a descendent of the archdevil Mammon seeks revenge on the human race that has ostracized him because of his red skin and massive horns. As he struggles to become an important member of the crime world, he gains possession of a powerful artifact that can capture and damn the souls of his victims. Now he seeks to create an army of damned souls in Hell to serve him forever.

The Legend of Garbog tells the tale of a man born of infernal ancestry and with a soul that is not his.

Damned before he is even born by a soul that escapes from Hell and steals his body, Garbog the devilkin, has a destiny like no other. Ostracized from society due to his red skin and ram-like horns, he turns to crime to support himself. At first, the descendant of Mammon endeavors to become a master at intimidating the weak and extorting the helpless, but when he comes into possession of an ancient dagger that absorbs and enslaves its victims' souls, Garbog becomes enthralled with the possibility of creating an army of the damned to serve him in his afterlife in the Nine Layers of Hell. An assassin in training, Garbog begins killing everyone he can get away with killing and accumulating souls to serve him.

But if Garbog's soul is not his own, then where is his real soul? And which one will really inherit the legion of the damned?
In this first installment of the Legend of Garbog, the protagonist gains experience as an assassin and reaches the next level of his professional development. As the story continues in future volumes, be sure to notice the evolution of Garbog's skills and talents.
