Sequels can sometimes be hit or miss but Ms. Hall has pulled it off here. This book is definitely a page-turner and is exciting in many ways. Just to be clear, you don't need to have read the first book to jump in here (but you will want to after reading this). Spoiler alert it looks like there may be a third volume following this!'
