The Lightbender

Fifteen-year-old Zophar Lightbender is the first kid in history to travel to outer space but tragedy strikes during the mission, and he sees his parents for the last time. When he wakes, he finds himself in an advanced, futuristic tower filled with talking robots, holographic screens, and mind-boggling technologies.

Only with the help of the an impish, super-intelligent girl named Aiya does he start to learn what really happened on that fateful day in space. They uncover a sinister plot to dominate the lives of everyone they care about, and Zophar and Aiya must use their intelligence and wit not to mention a persnickety robot, an overeager social media expert, and a wise teenage humanist to protect their loved ones.

This is the tale of The Lightbender.
