"The monsters we see but don't hear" is a collection of three short stories containing themes of dread, paranoia, and self doubt.
"Fluorescent Lights" follows Luke as he reconnects with an old friend Inside a laundromat on the edge of town. On this rainy day he begins to notice strange happenings as the lights flicker more as the storm rages on and the attendant at the front has gone missing as the laundromat becomes more empty and the missing person fliers have started to catch his eye.
"The Bio-Mechanica Project '' Jenna, a fresh college graduate on a job search, had a popular new prosthetic company reach out to her for a job interview at a weird time and in a location outside the city limits. When she arrives at the interview the company contacts her with strange instructions on where to go and what to do within as they seem to be watching and following her every step. The warehouse seems to be abandoned but all the technology is operating and some weird sounds are following her throughout the dark building.
"Slam" Is the story of Chase, a drummer on tour with his band who seems to be having self doubt about himself with his love for music and the girl he has a crush on. As he's seen her talking and what seems to be flirting with other guys and other band mates. And his love for music as his job is becoming more demanding to the point he has to work more and play less and his love for playing the drums seems to be waning as well.His doubt is amplified by the slamming in the motel room next door and his loud mouth friend Mac who he's sharing a room with.
