The Holy Bible is divided into two covenants: the Old Testament and the New Testament. They represent the evolution of God's purpose in dealing with His chosen people. Jesus brought in a higher order built upon better promises. The Old Testament contains a wealth of types and shadows that serve as a foundation for the New. When we delve into the subject, we discover that even the numerical values in the Old Testament speak a language of their own. It is to this language that we now turn our attention, for it is this numerical language that portrays, in a figurative way, the higher order brought in by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Richard O. Govier (1928-2018) was a Protestant pastor and missionary and travelled the world in that capacity. He planted a number of churches as well as training pastors who served in Brazil, Chile, Argentina and across the United States.
