Flushed with success at his part in the razing of Troy, Odysseus sets sail for home and family. Several years - some spent in service to a love-starved nymph - and several dangers later he arrives. Miraculously, his wife is waiting having inventively fended off many fortune-hunting suitors. He has a couple more hoops to jump through before they are eventually reunited.
