Sir Arthur Thomas Quiller-Couch (21 November 1863 12 May 1944) was a British author, poet, anthologist, and literary critic. He wrote many popular novels and essays and was a noted lecturer at Cambridge University. He was an active worker in politics for the Liberal Party. The main hero remembered how he was worse off than the boy in the omnibus was. In early childhood, he had lost father and mother. He lived near a garden with different flowers where he used to play. But, during the time, he decided that he needed some changes in his life. He had only two shillings in his pocket and went to London Read the story till the end to know what accident was the cause of his remembrance!
