David York, a professor of engineering, took a sabbatical year away from his hometown, Montreal. A French professor invited him to spend some time in Paris to collaborate on a research project. During his stay, he crossed paths with members of an organization opposed to the mullah regime in Iran. He sympathized with the members of this association but then found himself in dangerous situations. Nevertheless, he put forth his efforts and resources to help young Iranians in difficulties. He never expected to encounter his nemesis, Ahmad, an Iranian spy who had vowed to eliminate David.
Living through a passionate love affair, David became vulnerable to the dangers he faced. He uncovered spying activities and, with the help of his friends and girlfriend, tried to prevent the smuggling of top-secret nuclear information. Throughout the novel, David found himself deeper into trouble, attempting to emerge unharmed. However, with Ahmad's evil plan, the question remains: will he survive this ordeal?
