The Past Rekindled

I'm Terra McGinleytechnical writer and tran'zr (short for transitioner to the afterlife). Tran'zing is just a part-time gig, which is good, because the pay is non-existent, the hours are horrible, and my tall, dark and new partner is completely annoying. While he's checking the rule books and noting every little infraction, I'm helping people move oneven if it means bending those rules a bit.

In the real world, my motherwho is just dying for me to get married so she can have grandkidshas volunteered my writing services for an arts benefit. Unfortunately, now I'm stuck working with my high school crush. This is the same guy who stomped all over my heart back then, and is trying to do the same thing again now.
