What happens when a dragon dies?

Decades ago Vargas was expelled from his studies under his elven tutors and cast out from Arsala Homm. But now, humans have returned in force to the place they call Dragon Island, the only home to magic in all of Arsala. In the small village of Port Narrow, the island's only human settlement, Vargas set about the foundations of his retribution. As the only human able to teach the new art of spellcasting, people traveled from every corner of Arsala to study under the great man and become one of his Patrons of Humanity. But when Vargas moves against the elves, it leaves some of his followers wondering how far they're willing to go. The unexpected repercussions of his campaign soon entangle the lives of those living a world away and the future of all of Arsala is jeopardized by one man's search for revenge.
