Charlotte Bronte's maiden novel "The Professor" was first published posthumously in 1857. It is a delicate romantic story of an Englishman W. Crimswoth who goes to Brussels as a schoolmaster. There he falls in love with fellow teacher Frances Henri an Anglo-Swiss girl. All deep-felt emotions especially the tantalizing affects of love have been beautifully captured by Bronte.
