Ramose doesn't understand why he's been ripped from his biological family to be raised by Pharaoh. Taunted by his brothers and their friends, Ramose isolates himself by spending time alone on the banks of the river. He befriends an outcast who teaches him the ways of his people, the Habirus, and how they came to Egypt. As Ramose grows older, he learns of a prophecy, and his own gifts that brought him to the palace.

Set in ancient Egypt at the beginning of the New Kingdom, The Lost Books of Moses tell the story of how a young Habiru is raised as a prince, why he flees, and his finding an inner power to become the leader of the enslaved people of his birth.

With unforgettably lively characters and page-turning suspense, The Lost Books of Moses is a riveting tale of palace intrigue, sibling rivalry, and the process of discovering one's true inner power. The Prophecy Awakens is the first book in the series of the life of Moses.

Ramose is an unusual boy. Ripped from his family, he is raised at the palace as the fourth son of Pharaoh. Taunted by his brothers and their friends, Ramose isolates himself by spending time alone on the banks of the river. He befriends an outcast who teaches him the ways of his people, the Habirus, and how they came to Egypt.

Ramose tells us how he begins to hear a voice, that his palace teacher, Rekhmire, dismisses as that of the god Hapi. But Ramose knows otherwise. When talk of conflicting prophecies reaches him, Ramose suspects the real reason for his adoption. But as he uncovers the secrets of Pharaoh, the haters of the Habirus move against him, threatening his life.
