He'd been powerless to help her then, but there's no way he'll leave her now.

Mia Papadopoulos has done her best to gather up the scraps of her shattered life. In a last-ditch effort, she agrees to fly cross-country to a treatment center specializing in PTSD. But the journey triggers memories of the torture she suffered, and she's sure she's cracking upespecially when she sees Kirk Webber coming to her aid.

All too soon, their journey west will become a tour of discovery for them both. But when old foes threaten to destroy their newfound relationship, they will have to find the courage to put the past behind them and claim the future that awaits.
