Kyri sighed. "This is my fault," she said guiltily. "I begged you to stay here another night and you" She fell silent when Suvera leaned down and kissed her.

"I would pull the moon down from the sky and give it to you, if you but asked," said Suvera, straightening up again.

"Come here," Aida softly commanded. She smiled and placed her hands on her hips as she added, "I've a magick wand. Do you like it?"

Robyn laughed softly, and with heart skipping a beat, she obeyed, moving close enough that she was facing Aida. The knight looked down at her, a serious fire blazing in her dark eyes, and she did not break her gaze as she pulled on the laces of Robyn's gown-front.

But Eoden was ashamed to say that instead of watching Peyton and her fellow runaways, she had stopped in town to buy Siga flowers, and then she had made love to Siga, doing everything in her power to make things right.

Present-day Suvera smiled as she remembered it, the day they met. It was a year ago, in Springston, a small sheep herding village on the edge of Varu. Suvera's year had been touring the realms and taking quests to gain experience as knights. They stopped at Springston for the night, and in the morning, Suvera found herself standing outside the inn and leaning her forearms against the wood fence with Aida. It was then that Kyri approached up the road, guiding a flock of fluffy white sheep in a stream of cloud. She was alongside her sister, but she was the prettier of the two, and Suvera froze at the sight of her.
