Tarzan, disenchanted with civilized life, leaves America for Europe. But, after numerous scrapes and adventures, Tarzan is ultimately ambushed and thrown overboard the ship he has taken passage on. He swims for his life and miraculously finds himself in the coastal jungle where he was brought up by apes.
