The Romantic Poems of Mario V. Farina

Mario V. Farina was born in Schenectady, New York.

He was brought up and received his elementary education in that city. In 1973, he received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York.
He served in the U. S. Army during World War II as a Radio Operator in the China/Burma/India Theater.
He was married to the former Sally K. Merge, who is now deceased. They had four children, Kristine, Kathleen, Kirsten, and Karen. He has ten grandchildren.
Mr. Farina was employed initially by the American Locomotive Company in Schenectady as a clerk, next by General Electric Company as an engineer's assistant then, later, as a computer instructor. He retired from this company in 1982 and accepted a position at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is currently employed at this school as a microcomputer consultant.
Mr. Farina has been writing since childhood. He is the author of several textbooks in Computer Science, some of which were published by Prentice-Hall. had some short stories and poems published. This is his first published volume of poetry.
