The Sevenfold Holy Spirit

Why is the Holy Spirit called "the seven Spirits of God" in the Book of Revelation? Why is He depicted as seven lamps of fire? Why is He shown as seven eyes? There aren't seven Spirits of God; and yet the Book mentions seven Spirits. But if there is only the one Holy Spirit, then why is He called seven Spirits?
