Abel, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, David, Jesus, and Paul, as well as dozens of other great men of Bible times all had one thing in common: the spirit of faith. They had operating in them an unusual grace, a peculiar unction that made it possible for them to do exploits. That singular qualitycaused themto please God. Faith is a familiar subject to many full gospel believers. But there is another dimension to the faith message: the possessing of the spirit of faith. It was this spirit operating in Abel that made him offer a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, because he believed that God was not unjust to demand for a sacrifice.
