As I have moved about amongst Christians in many parts of this world, and in many situations, one thing has been growing upon me more and more strongly. In the presence of a great deal of confusion amongst Christians and many complications in Christianity, the feeling that has become stronger and stronger with me is the need that Christians should really know what Christianity is, really what it is that they are in as Christians. That sounds, perhaps, rather drastic, but I am quite sure that a very great deal of the trouble - and I think we all agree that there is a good deal of trouble in Christianity generally - a very great deal of the trouble is due to a failure to really understand what Christianity is.
