'The Status of the Jews in Egypt' is a book penned by W. M. Flinders Petrie. The book is a lecture delivered as part of The Arthur Davis Memorial Lecture project, which was overseen by the Jewish Historical Society of England, with the object of fostering Hebraic thought and learning in honor of an unworldly scholar. A lecture is to be given annually in the anniversary week of his death, to which on this particular occasion, Petrie discussed the history of Jews in Egypt.
