On the eve of the Li and Huang families proposing an arranged marriage for their children Bao and Jia, Liqin feels insecure about losing his long-cherished love for Jia. Amidst the storm that was brewing in the families, Bao is assaulted in Cervinia along with his true love. As the families gather to assure the security of their children it opens up a pandora's box of past betrayals, hurt feelings, and grudges which they need to overcome to secure the safety of their children.
