Dr Abbie Lane is a consultant psychiatrist and associate dean with St Patrick's Mental Health Services. She is also an associate professor at UCD. For almost twenty years she led a clinic specialising in stress assessment and management based at St John of God Hospital in Dublin. In 2013 she set up her own practice, the Gulliver Clinic, and now provides assessment and advice to individuals and groups. She is the co-author of Stress: The CommonSense Approach (1998) and co-editor of Understanding Mental Health (2005).
