The Tale of the Abandoned House (a mystery suspense for children ages 8-12)

Cousins Caden and Yara are on a camping trip in the Oregon mountains with their fathers and Uncle Spencer. Yara and Caden have been very close since they were little despite differences in their personalities. Though the two kids are both curious, they differ on the things they tend to get interested in. Yara is more curious with mysteries and tales that their grandmother told them while Caden's curiosity is only spiked at school when it's time to learn. Yara always goes for an adventure even though most of the time her cousin Caden finds it dangerous. Caden, despite being the careful one, always goes on adventure with his cousin Yara as he could never say no to Yara's enthusiasm when it comes to adventure.
When the two kids tried to wander the mountain in the middle of the night, they saw an abandoned house from a distance and realized that it might be the house in one of the Oregon tales their grandmother told them about. Yara could not resist the mystery and adventure that the abandoned house held while Caden could not say no toYara's excitement. What will the two kids find in the abandoned house they saw from a distance.
